Location: Central London Head Office (Hybrid Work Arrangement)

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 Basic Salary + Bonus

Role Overview:
As the Meat & Poultry Buyer, Purchasing Manager, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and managing meat and poultry supplies to ensure the highest standards of quality and sustainability. This position involves international travel and offers a unique opportunity to shape our clients supply chain strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement sourcing strategies for meat and poultry products.
* Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with suppliers.
* Monitor market trends and make data-driven purchasing decisions.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing with company goals.
* Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet demand.
* Regular international travel to source products and meet with suppliers.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in meat and poultry procurement, preferably in the food service or restaurant industry.
* Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
* Strategic thinker with excellent analytical abilities.
* Ability to travel internationally as required.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
