Are you a Buyer / Materials Buyer with residential housebuilding experience, looking for a secure long-term role with a well-established developer known for delivering a quality product?

On offer is a permanent position with a stable, growing residential housebuilder where you will play a key part in keeping live sites supplied, working closely with the wider commercial team to support continued growth.

This company are an established housebuilder and are continuing to expand, with major sites in progress and clear plans to increase annual unit delivery. As a result of ongoing success, they are now looking to add an experienced Buyer to support the team.

In this role you'll be based in Wimborne, managing material and plant enquiries, pricing and supplier negotiations, producing material CVRs, and creating material schedules from construction drawings. You'll also support the estimating function with pricing and supplier input.

This role would suit a Buyer / Materials Buyer from a residential developer background, looking for a long-term, stable position with an established business and the opportunity to make a real impact within the buying function.

The Role:

Buyer / Materials Buyer for a residential housebuilder
Pricing, supplier negotiations, and managing day-to-day enquiries
Producing material CVRs and building material schedules from drawings
Supporting estimators with pricing and supplier inputThe Person:

Buyer / Materials Buyer with residential housebuilding / development experience
Strong residential materials knowledge (e.g., brick, block, mortar, 1st fix, 2nd fix)
Able to read and take off information from construction drawings (HNC/ONC desirable)Reference Number: BBBH(phone number removed)
