Evoke Staffing have the pleasure of working with a specialist company with over 35 years of expertise.

The Buyer/Purchaser will maintain and build a network of reliable vendors and service providers, negotiating the best contracts ensuring quality products and value for money.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers
• Meeting with existing and new suppliers
• Keep a constant check on stock levels
• Excellent negotiation skills and cost reduction methods
• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
• Produce reports and statistics using computer software
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
• Updating stock prices
• Other duties, liaising with stores and office management regarding potential problems, advise pricing to customers and organising delivery

To secure this position, you must have a proven work experience in Purchasing/Buying. You must have good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices, understand supply chain procedures and have good analytical skills.
