As a Buying Manager - LDA (Large Domestic Appliances) you will be responsible to lead our Appliance category, delivering a compelling product assortment at the best value for UK consumers.

You'll play a key role in shaping category direction, building strong supplier partnerships, and contributing to the expansion of a fast-growing e-commerce business.

The roles and responsibilities of this Buying Manager - LDA (Large Domestic Appliances) role:

1. Build and maintain a highly competitive LDA assortment, offering the best product selection at the most compelling value for consumers.
2. Develop and manage strong relationships with suppliers to ensure access to top-performing, in-demand appliances.
3. Shape and execute category strategies for managing a high-volume SKU count effectively and profitably.
4. Lead end-to-end buying and commercial planning for the LDA category-covering product selection, sales forecasting, and lifecycle management.
5. Drive business development by onboarding leading appliance brands and securing exclusive deals and promotional campaigns.
6. Analyse performance metrics and identify sourcing gaps to enhance supplier output and category results.
7. Negotiate pricing, trading terms, and cost efficiencies to maximise gross margin and profitability.
8. Partner with international supply chain teams to secure the necessary logistical and operational support for consistent product availability.

Qualifications required for this Buying Manager - LDA (Large Domestic Appliances) role:

1. Proven expertise in category management or buying within retail or e-commerce, ideally with a focus on large domestic appliances or consumer electronics.
2. We're hiring across multiple senior buying positions and are particularly interested in candidates with 8-10+ years of experience in relevant categories.
3. You should bring a genuine passion for the LDA category, with the ability to take full ownership of the product range-from strategy and sourcing to execution and performance.
4. This is a high-growth, fast-paced environment, perfect for hands-on professionals who thrive on agility and can make decisions quickly and confidently.
5. A deep understanding of UK consumers and strong commercial instincts are essential, along with sharp market insights and the ability to spot emerging trends.
6. You'll be expected to leverage existing supplier networks within the household appliances sector and foster new strategic partnerships.
