C# Developer / Technical Lead (.Net CQRS Azure) to £80k

Are you a skilled C# Developer combined with a good knowledge of CQRS and Event Sourcing combined with technical leadership skills?

You could be progressing your career at a financial services tech consultancy that specialise in solutions for Pensions and Investment Managers; continually learning and progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role.

As a C# Developer / Technical Lead you will remain hands-on, working across the full development lifecycle with involvement from requirements and planning through to development, testing, implementation, DevOps and support whilst also providing project leadership and technical guidance to a small team.

You'll be using a wide range of technology across the full tech stack; they've just moved over to .Net 6.0 and are using front end frameworks such as React and Redux; you'll have a focus on backend development but with exposure to the front end too.

As the C# Developer / Technical Lead you'll play a pivotal role in technical discussions, architecture and design decisions as well as overall product strategy, collaborating with the CTO and other business stakeholders.

Location / WFH Policy:
You can work remotely, from home most of the time, joining colleagues in the Bristol or London office fairly regularly (e.g. once a quarter).

About you:

• You have expertise with C# .Net including .Net Core
• You have experience with CQRS and Event Sourcing to deliver scalable performant services
• You have experience with Cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS using Lambda (serverless architecture), they use both
• You have a good knowledge of microservices, DevOps, CI/CD, TeamCity, Octopus and non-relational databases, ideally MongoDB experience
• You also have some front end development skills with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux
• You're collaborative with great communication skills and experience of coaching, mentoring and managing other software engineers
• You're comfortable working as part of a leadership team
