Cabinet Maker/Bench Joiner

We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity to join our rapidly growing cabinet making/joinery company. We are a family run business priding ourselves on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and delivering exceptional products to our clients.

The role involves mainly assembing and also finishing of bespoke cabinetry such as hanging doors, fitting frames, installing fixtures & fittings along with checking and inspecting work to ensure it meets specification. Working with a range of woods using a variety of handheld power tools and woodworking machinery.

As a bench joiner / cabinet maker at Farmhouse Furniture, typical duties include:

• Processing mainly sheet material and assembling parts together.
• Hanging doors and attaching frames
• Preparing joinery for spraying and also fitting ironmongery when needed.
• Filling, sanding and finishing products.
• Use both hand and power tools.
• Installation on site

The ideal candidate should have the following requirements:

• Machinery experience including panel saw, spindle moulder, tenoneretc.
• Ability to produce work to a high standard.
• An understanding of drawings, cutting lists, and specification sheets
• Experience of working as a joiner/cabinet maker for a minimum of 3 years.
• Willingness to grow and develop within the company
• Meet deadlines and have a good eye for detail.
• Own transport to be able to get to work without relying on public transport
• Ability to work well independently and to work as part of the workshop team.
• A Sense of homour is alos essential

Job Type: Full-time/Permanant

Pay: £28,000- £35,000 per year

• Monday to Friday 7am - 5:30 (currently which includes overtime)
• Overtime and saturdays also possible
