We're recruiting for a PCB Cable Assembler to join a quality-focused manufacturing team where you'll be working on high-reliability electronic assemblies in a clean, modern production environment. The Role

As a Cable Assembler, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality electronic assemblies to customer specifications, ensuring excellent workmanship & attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process.

You'll be responsible for:

Assembling PCB & cable assemblies to engineering drawings & work instructions
Carrying out visual inspections of completed assemblies
Identifying assembly defects including soldering faults & wiring discrepancies
Using microscopes, hand tools & measuring equipment
Reading engineering drawings, schematics & bills of materials
Recording production & quality documentation accurately
Working closely with Production, Engineering & Quality teams
Maintaining high housekeeping & health & safety standards

What we're looking for

To be successful in this Cable Assembler role in Waterlooville, Hampshire, you'll ideally have:

Previous experience assembling PCB or cable assemblies
Experience within an electronics manufacturing environment
Ability to read engineering drawings & wiring diagrams
Excellent attention to detail
Good manual dexterity & soldering experience
Experience using inspection equipment such as microscopes (desirable)
IPC certification or similar (advantageous)
