OCU Group is seeking experienced HV & EHV Cable Jointers to work on major energy and infrastructure projects across the UK. If you’re passionate about high-quality installations and safety-first execution, we want you on our team.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for the installation, connection, maintenance and repair of LV, HV, and EHV underground cables, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient jointing work on critical power networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and install underground cables (XLPE, PILC, armoured)
• Perform LV, HV, and EHV joints and terminations using various methods
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot with precision
• Ensure all work complies with safety and industry standards
• Support and mentor junior team members

What You’ll Bring
You will be experienced in cable jointing (LV, HV; EHV desirable), with valid operational authorisations (e.g., NPG) preferred, NRSWA accreditation (desirable). With excellent attention to detail and communication skills, you must also have flexibility to travel and work across the UK.
