What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground power cables on DNO networks

• Supporting on-site safety by helping carry out risk assessments and following health and safety procedures

• Preparing tools, materials, and cable joints for the Cable Jointer

• Ensuring all work meets Scottish Power and DNO technical standards

• Using hand and power tools correctly and maintaining a tidy, safe work area

• Helping to complete job records and site reports accurately

• Current DNO authorisation (Scottish Power network)

• Valid First Aid qualification

• Manual Handling training

• CSCS SHER Power card

• Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• Street Works qualification
