Academics are currently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to work across a range of nurseries in Eastbourne and the surrounding areas. The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children. You will work alongside experienced nursery teams to support children's learning, development and wellbeing.

You may be responsible for:

Supporting children's learning and development through play and planned activities
Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment
Supporting children's personal care needs
Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
Following safeguarding and nursery policies
Working as part of a supportive nursery team
Completing observations and contributing to children's development records

Requirements

To be considered for these opportunities, you must have:

CACHE Level 3 or equivalent Early Years qualification
Previous experience working in a UK nursery setting
Paediatric First Aid training
A strong understanding of the EYFS
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for working with children
A commitment to safeguarding and child welfareAn enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, although we can support successful applicants through the DBS process where required.
