Position: CAD/CAM Engineer
Location: Oldbury
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full Time
Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Annual Salary: £32,000

What You'll Do:
As a CAD/CAM Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our design process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Utilising your CAD expertise to read and interpret detailed drawings.
• Converting DXF and DWG files into Procut for production.
• Nesting parts into plates to optimise material utilisation.
• Collaborating with the sales and production teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Communicating with customers to resolve any drawing queries and provide exceptional service.
• Continuously developing your knowledge and skills to progress in your career.

What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Proficient in CAD with a solid understanding of engineering principles.
• Previous experience with Procut is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
• A desire for personal and professional development.
