Cad Design Engineer

Hours: Monday to Friday, with a 2.30pm finish on Friday

Key Responsibilities and Duties;

· Work on collaborative projects with Sales Managers and Architects using 2D and 3D CAD to engineer solutions.

· Administrate drawing office procedures such as drawing modifications, product introduction, and document control.

· Produce clear and concise Engineering drawings and specifications (Metal fabrications, machined components and sub assemblies).

· Design, develop, source and test prototypes before releasing to production.

· Identify and select materials needed for production.

· Prepare new product quotations based on standard product ranges.

Knowledge and Experience

· Ideally qualified to HNC level in a design or engineering discipline.
· Experience with modern materials and manufacturing techniques.
· Use and understanding of design software, ideally Solid Works, Auto Cad.
· Experience in manufacturing/production beneficial.
