  • Interpret engineering specifications, sketches, and technical input to create accurate design documentation.
  • Prepare layout drawings for plant rooms, modular skids, and site-specific installations.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural teams to ensure integrated design delivery.
  • Maintain drawing version control and adhere to internal documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers during design reviews, incorporating feedback and revisions.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with relevant safety regulations and industry codes.
  • Support procurement and construction teams with fabrication and installation-ready drawings.
  • Manage CAD libraries and standardise drawing templates and practices.
CAD Designer
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar CAD software.
  • Familiarity with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems and plant layout design.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design documentation.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and schematics.
  • Good communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
CAD Designer
Benefits:
  • Opportunity to work on innovative energy projects with real-world decarbonisation impact.
  • Competitive salary with progression opportunities.
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, with flexible holiday buy/sell options.
  • Private medical insurance and pension scheme.
  • Access to a digital benefits platform and employee wellbeing resources.
  • Inclusive and agile work environment with flat hierarchy and quick decision-making.
If you’re a technically skilled CAD professional looking to be part of the energy transition, apply today.
