Job Title: CAD Designer
Location: Oxford
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum

We are currently seeking a CAD Designer to join an innovative engineering company based in Oxford, operating within the renewables sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, technically advanced environment delivering high-performance engineered solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using Catia V5.

Support the design and development of complex components and assemblies.

Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to ensure designs are optimised for performance and manufacture.

Contribute to prototype development and design refinement.

Maintain accurate CAD data, technical documentation, and revision control.

Skills & Experience Required:

Strong proficiency in Catia V5 (essential).

Experience in composites design is beneficial.

Background in motorsport, automotive, or other fast-paced engineering environments is advantageous.

Good understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacture principles.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Relevant engineering or design qualification preferred.
