Excellent opportunity for a Draughtsperson or a CAD Technician looking to join an established construction company in Shropshire. You will have the chance to further develop your career working on major projects across a variety of sectors for a company leading the way in premium steel frame buildings.

This construction company has built a strong national reputation for its specialist expertise in the complete design, installation, and manufacture of both large and small-scale agricultural, commercial, and industrial steel buildings. The company has experienced steady year-on-year growth over the past decade, and, with a robust pipeline of upcoming work, they are now looking to expand their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including producing detailed drawings for steel frame buildings, liaising directly with clients to clarify specifications, and ensuring all drawings are accurate and compliant. You will be designing projects using both 2D and 3D CAD software.

The ideal candidate will have at a minimum, experience with 2D CAD, along with knowledge of the steel industry or a background in mechanical, structural, or civil engineering. This is a full-time, office-based role located in Shropshire.

The Role

• Completing drawings for steel frame buildings
• Liaising with clients and customers
• Ensuring drawings are accurate and compliant
• Designing projects with 2D and 3D CAD Software

The Person:

• Experience with 2D CAD
• Experience within industries of either Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Façade or similar
• Commutable distance to the office in Shropshire
