Cad Engineer

A great opportunity has arisen for a CAD Engineer to join a worldclass bespoke manufacturing company who provide solutions to a variety of industries including Retail, Industrial and Construction.

Job Description:

• Producing detailed manufacturing fabrication drawings for project designs working from site surveys within the required timescales.
• Liaising with the sales team, architects, customers and suppliers throughout the design and installation process.
• Producing material, component & bolt lists for procurement.
• Aiding the manufacturing and site installation team to fully understand the fabrication drawings and answer queries as they arise.
• Attending site to undertake site surveys when required.

Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:

• 2D & 3D AutoCAD
• Experience with metalwork and various components
• Autodesk Inventor (would be advantageous but not essential)
• REVIT Family Generation and Modification (would be advantageous but not essential)
• Experienced in mechanical and engineering practices
• Driving licence

Additional Details:

• Hours of work – 39 per week: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5pm & Friday 8:30am - 4pm.
• 7% company pension contribution (employee non-contributory pension scheme)
