Job Description - CAD Engineer

Are you a skilled CAD Designer looking to join a well established manufacturing business based in Halesowen? This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a innovative team working on diverse design and development projects.

Annual Salary: up to £30,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce detailed 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks and Draftsign software packages
  • Modify and update existing CAD drawings in line with design changes
  • Collaborate closely with production, engineering and project teams to ensure accurate design implementation
  • Support prototype development and product revisions
  • Maintain drawing records and adhere to design standards and quality protocols

Requirements:
  • Proven experience using SolidWorks
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to interpret and produce technical drawings with a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
