Location: Slough, Berkshire

Salary: £40,000-£55,000
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Working Arrangement: Fully on-site

We're looking for an experienced 5-Axis Machinist / Programmer to join a fast-growing robotics business developing high-performance Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) designed for fast, modular and mission-ready deployment.

You'll manufacture high-precision components that go directly into advanced robotic systems, working closely with design engineers to turn complex designs into high-quality finished parts.

The Role

Programme and operate 5-axis CNC machinery to manufacture complex, high-precision components.
Work closely with design engineers to optimise components for manufacturability, quality and efficiency.
Take ownership of machining processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency and excellent standards.
Troubleshoot machining challenges and continuously improve processes.
Contribute to the development of advanced robotic systems through precision engineering.

About You

Proven experience in 5-axis CNC machining and programming.
A strong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances and precision manufacturing.
A commitment to quality, accuracy and efficient machining practices.
A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
The ability to collaborate with design engineers and contribute ideas to improve component design and manufacturing processes.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where ownership and responsibility are encouraged.
