We are looking for a CAD/CAM Programmer & Estimator to join our client’s team at their facility in North Ayrshire. This is a varied role that combines estimating, CAD/CAM programming and production support giving you the opportunity to play a key part in delivering high-quality manufacturing projects from enquiry through to production.

Key Responsibilities

* Produce accurate estimates and quotations for customer enquiries.

* Create and optimise CAD/CAM programmes for manufacturing operations.

* Interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.

* Liaise with customers and internal teams to clarify project requirements.

* Support production planning and scheduling activities.

* Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure quality and efficiency.

* Assist in continuous improvement initiatives across production operations.

Skills & Experience

Essential

* Experience within a manufacturing or mechanical engineering environment.

* Proficiency in CAD/CAM programming.

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Desirable

* Experience within profiling, machining or fabrication environments.

* Knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes.

* Estimating or quotation preparation experience
