CAD SALES ESTIMATOR

Salary: £32,000 TO £35,000

We are a leading name in the steel manufacturing industry, known for our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and motivated CAD Estimator to join our dynamic team.

The Role:
As a CAD Estimator, you will play a crucial role in interpreting and breaking down technical CAD drawings to create accurate estimates for projects. You'll work closely with our design, production, and sales teams to ensure our manufacturing processes are efficient and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret complex CAD drawings and assemblies (SolidWorks / AutoCAD).

• Break down and analyze technical drawings for estimating and production planning.

• Work with MRP systems and CAD-based estimating software (SigmaNEST or similar - training provided if needed).

• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure accurate material and time estimates.

• Maintain clear documentation and records of estimates and revisions.

Requirements:

• Proficient in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD, with strong experience in working with complex CAD assemblies.

• Clear understanding of technical CAD drawings and the ability to deconstruct them for estimation purposes.

• Experience with SigmaNEST, MRP systems, or similar CAD/estimating software is advantageous but not essential - training can be provided.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
