CAD Technician

Join a contractor design and build team as their new CAD Technician and work on water, landscaping, civil and environmental projects from planning to construction.

Work on an enjoyable variety of schemes from lakes and reservoirs, landscaping to restoring rivers and waterways.

You need prior UK experience as a CAD Technician, CAD Designer, Civil Technician or Landscape specialist and be living in Suffolk or the surrounding local area.

You’ll have strong CAD skills and be confident being involved with:

• Producing AutoCAD drawings for planning applications and construction details
• Desktop OS mapping and LIDAR data for land surveys
• Working on tender applications and project coordination support to the team.
• Liaising with consultants, project partners and environmental organisations

The role suits a CAD Technician with multi-disciplinary experience gained with a civil consultant, architectural practice, landscape designer, local authority or a construction design and build team.

Experience construction, water, planning, environment, landscaping or land surveying would be beneficial. Training can be provided to learn Civil 3D.
