Duties for the role of CAD Technician include:

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop high-quality designs and technical drawings
Produce detailed construction drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and associated details
Attend site visits and undertake surveys to ensure designs and works meet relevant requirements
Keep up to date with current industry standards, legislation, trends, and technical regulations

Skills and experience for the role of CAD Technician:

Degree or relevant qualification in Architectural Technology, CAD, or a related discipline
Relevant post-qualification experience gained within a UK-based practice or consultancy
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Excellent technical drawing and detailing abilities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Experience preparing and developing architectural drawings and technical specifications
Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills
