Cad Technician

Location: Hybrid / Remote
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We’re looking for an experienced CAD / BIM Technician with a background in electronic security systems to join a growing design team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong AutoCAD and Revit skills who wants to work on technical designs within the security industry.

The Role

* Produce detailed 2D/3D drawings and BIM models using AutoCAD and Revit.

* Support the design and delivery of CCTV, Access Control and other electronic security systems.

* Work to BIM Level 2 standards and engineering design principles.

* Produce accurate technical documentation and design drawings.

* Work closely with project, engineering and design teams.

* Use tools including Visio, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and JVSG.

About You

* Strong experience with AutoCAD and Revit.

* Practical understanding of BIM.

* Previous experience within security systems / electronic security.

* Good understanding of engineering and construction principles.

* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

* UK security industry experience is highly desirable.

* UK driving licence desirable.
