CAD Technician – Full-Time, Office-Based
Location: Witham, Essex

We are working with a respected and long-established stonework specalsit who deliever high-end commercial projects, currently looking to appoint a CAD Technician with additional responsibilities in document control. This is a great opportunity to join a busy and well-structured team involved in delivering prestigious projects, predominantly in London.

The Role:
This is a full-time, office-based position located near Witham, Essex. The successful candidate will primarily focus on producing detailed CAD drawings, while also supporting document control processes across multiple projects. While the majority of the role is office-based, occasional travel to project sites in London may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

* Produce accurate 2D CAD drawings for commercial stone and tiling packages (AutoCAD)

* Assist with design detailing, drawing updates, and technical submissions

* Maintain and manage document registers, RFI logs, and drawing records

* Liaise with internal teams and site staff to ensure up-to-date documentation is available across all projects

* Contribute to wider project coordination and administrative support when required.

Ideal Candidate:

* Proficient in AutoCAD with a solid understanding of construction drawings and detailing

* Previous experience in stone, tiling, or interior finishes is desirable but not essential

* Strong organisational skills with experience managing technical documents

* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

* Able to work full-time from the office near Witham, Essex

* Ideally local to the area and seeking a long-term role within a stable team
