Calibration & Service Engineer

Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for our Redditch based client who are seeking a Calibration & Service Engineer to start immediately. Career progression is guaranteed for the right candidate.

This is a new role, which will involve calibration and service of Aviation and electric battery charger devices.

Duties and tasks will include:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on aviation and battery charge equipment.
Calibrate equipment to industry standards.
Diagnose faults and liaise with customers to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records using the company CRM and databases.
Produce detailed reports and manage paperwork efficiently.
Monitor stock levels and conduct monthly stock takes.Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:

Ideally, experience in servicing, maintaining, or calibrating machinery (though candidates with the right attitude and technical training will be considered).
Technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
Strong problem-solving skills with a logical and methodical approach.
Proactive, organised, and able to work independently to tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and confidence engaging with customers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with good attention to detail.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel internationally (training and field work).
A desire to progress into a Field Service role.Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 2pm.
