Job Description

The Role

We are currently looking for Contractors with experience of working as a Call Handler in a results orientated, quality-controlled environment. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic large-scale operation in the financial services industry. You will be working in a high-quality team carrying out case reviews and / or helping to resolve complaints for a major financial service provider, as part of a Past Business Review related to retirement options.

Location: Crawley

Start Date: 24th June 2019 [ASAP]

Duration: End December 2019

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday 9am to 5:30pm

Rate: £170 per day

Day-to-Day Activities

§Answering inbound customers calls to provide customers with help, support and guidance as part of the review

§Outbound calling to gathering data from third parties and customers to help in our review of cases

§Carrying out case reviews including data-gathering, customer contact and decision making

§Production of customer letters and redress calculation

§Gathering data (including medical evidence) from customers and other third parties to review cases

§Working with a wide range of systems to manage data

§Speaking to customers on the telephone

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

A background in financial services and case review is a must [6 months minimum]. Experience in pension and annuities is preferable but we will also consider candidates with strong experience in other products (e.g. PPI, PBA).

Candidates will require the following skills:

§Demonstrable review and analytical skills in dealing withfinancial services cases

§Ability to multi-task between several systems

§Work autonomously and as part of a wider team

§Be driven, flexible and able to work to targets

§Ability to manage multiple activities and prioritise tasks

§Confidence to escalate issues to leadership team

§Maintain high standards of professionalism and competence

§Good communication, letter writing and telephony skills
