Call Handler

Senior Salmon are on the hunt for experienced Call Handlers to join a new and growing company based in Mansfield.

This is an exciting opportunity for confident and professional individuals who thrive in a fast-paced customer service environment. We are looking for candidates with previous experience in call handling, transport planning, dispatch, geographical knowledge, or contact centre environments.

Being confident on the phone is an absolute must.

Interviews will be taking place throughout October, with successful candidates due to start in November.

Key Responsibilities:
- Booking customer appointments
- Liaising with and scheduling surveyors
- Handling insurance claims and customer enquiries
- Managing complaints and resolving customer issues
- Dealing with finance-related documentation and insurance claims
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems

Please be aware that this role involves speaking with customers who may be upset or frustrated. We are looking for individuals who can communicate professionally, show empathy, and remain calm under pressure.

Requirements:
- Minimum 9 months' experience in administration and call handling
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Strong customer service background
- Ability to manage difficult conversations professionally
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Experience within transport planning, dispatch, logistics, or contact centres would be advantageous

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday
9:00am - 5:00pm
37.5 hours per week

Mansfield
Office-based role

Pay

Salary will be discussed during the interview process and will be dependent on experience.
