Call Handler / Patient Coordinator

Location: Crawley
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, with at least one Saturday per month

About the Role

We are seeking a friendly and organised Call Handler to join a busy healthcare team in Crawley. This is a customer-focused role where you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent service and ensuring appointments are scheduled efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

* Answering incoming calls from patients in a professional and compassionate manner

* Scheduling, amending, and cancelling appointments

* Handling patient enquiries and providing accurate information

* Updating patient records and maintaining data accuracy

* Liaising with healthcare professionals and colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery

* Managing a high volume of calls while maintaining excellent customer service standards

About You

* Previous experience in a call handling, customer service, or administration role

* Excellent communication and telephone manner

* Strong organisational and time management skills

* Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment

* Good IT skills and experience using appointment booking systems is desirable

* Empathetic and patient-focused approach
