Call Handler (repairs)

Looking for an experienced Call Handler to join a busy maintenance contractor based in Basildon on a permanent basis

Duties:

• Answering inbound calls from tenants and clients regarding repairs to properties
• Logging and scheduling repairs and maintenance requests.
• Liaising with engineers and contractors to coordinate appointments.
• Updating systems and ensuring accurate records are kept of all works carried out.
• Providing excellent customer service at all times.
• General Admin tasks

Requirements:

• Previous experience in customer service ideally in a Maintenance/ Housing/ Construction environment
• Good communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Basic IT skills for logging and updating records.
