Job Description - Campaign Account Director

This is an exciting opportunity to coordinate and facilitate the production and delivery of Print, Ecomm & Digital assets for the KFC account. 
The Campaign Account Director works directly with the KFC marketing team and is responsible for the keeping all projects/campaigns within budget and on time.  The role exists in support of the Senior Account Director. You are responsible for delivering an exceptional, right first time, service to our clients in line with the client’s contractual requirements and ITGs own KPI’s.  Providing both strategic and operational leadership to your teams to deliver customer service excellence. You will actively understand and promote the wider ITG offering to deliver continuous improvement initiatives, develop and grow the account.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders / decision makers to ensure your team fully understands the client’s strategy, aims and goals enabling the ITG team to deliver the best service
  • Professional adherence to all processes and best practise to ensure every projects is produced impeccable, is right first time, every time and is always on-time
  • Working closely with our Creative Account Director to deliver best in class content, making sure there is a seamless handover between the creative and production streams and having regular catch ups on projects
  • Lead a team of 5 across production for all channels, working seamlessly with the KFC marketing team across all projects
  • Oversee all critical paths for all channels and sure ensuring we are hitting all deadlines and FTPs ahead of launch
  • Support the team with their personal development, supporting them to perform at their best in a fast pace environment – this is retail after all – and always leading by example
  • Actively maintain account status reports to present to both client and senior stakeholders at ITG to monitor account performance
  • Leading on weekly finance actions and making sure your team have actioned all tasks and up to date on all invoicing
  • Respond to all client requirements within the designated timelines and escalating where concerns to the Senior Account Director
  • Contribute towards the management of the account P&L and optimisations of the commercial benefits from the customer to ensure maximum profitability whilst remaining within clients commercials agreements and contracts
  • Collaborating with the Senior Account Director on annual budgeting and regular forecasting reports for ITG to monitor account performance
  • Receiving briefs from key KFC client stakeholders and clearly communicating timelines, creative templates that will be followed and costings
  • Linking all briefs back to the KFC marketing managers to ensure campaigns run smoothly and artwork can be approved in good time against our agreed critical paths
  • On hand support on pre-production & WIP meetings for your team to ensure KFC marketing have given a clear finalized artwork brief
  • Confidently integrating client briefs and proactively managing to ensure clear brief to the ITG studios
  • Demonstrating knowledge of client ways of working when relaying briefs and feeding back; using instinct and insight combined with a good understanding of the client to access the brief requirement
  • Developing and maintaining project timelines, including accommodating last minute client requests and changing priorities, assessing project risks and escalating as necessary to the Campaign Account Director
  • Maintain a great relationship with ITG Digital & Artwork Production Teams and flag urgent or large campaigns in advance, giving them realistic deadlines to support resource. Working closely with both parties to ensure projects remain on brand and meet the brief
  • Being the gatekeeper of quality; ensuing all work the client sees has been sense checked and is of the highest quality before being shared
  • Understanding Print, artwork and digital and the challenges that come with these specialist disciplines.
  • Computer literate with strong knowledge of Excel
  • Highly numerate and commercially aware
  • Experience of POS within a retail/Hospitality business
  • Proven client service and account management skills and experience
  • Excellent attention to detail combined with a good level of written English / grammar
  • Solid knowledge of creative processes with a strong marketing background
  • Proven project management and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task a must 
  • Comfortable working in a faced-paced environment
  • Able to problem solve, find solutions and remain calm under pressure
  • Strong commercial acumen for accurate job estimation, invoicing and budget management
  • Time management skills to effectively meet project deadlines and SLAs
