Position: Campaign Apprentice - Wales


Department: Campaigns and Training


Reports to: Director of Campaigns and Training


Location: Cardiff & Remote (Full-Time Contract)


 


Role Overview


We are looking for hard-working people who are keen to learn on the job as part of Reform UK's campaign in Wales. You need to have a passion for working with volunteers and motivating people. 


The Wales Campaign Apprentices are responsible for supporting the Reform UK campaigns in Wales. This role ensures the effective coordination of candidates and volunteers, maintains administrative consistency, and guarantees timely delivery of campaign materials. The postholder will work closely with the team in HQ as well as the Director for Wales to ensure local campaigns are professionally run and aligned with national strategy.


While this role might be based out of an office in Wales, the ideal candidate will be ready to roll up their sleeves and get out on the ground to support campaigns across Wales. You’ll be a natural people-person with sharp administrative and organisational skills, able to juggle multiple priorities and play a vital role in driving results across the UK.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Liaise with candidates, regional director, and local branches to ensure campaign readiness.

  • Coordinate volunteer deployment.

  • Oversee the distribution of campaign literature and promotional materials.

  • Ensure branches are actively campaigning both during and outside of election periods.

  • Monitor campaign progress and provide regular reports to senior leadership.

  • Supporting by-election campaigns.

  • Training branches and members.

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.

  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing political environment.
