Campervan Upholsterer – Beds & Seating – Full Training Provided

Location: Banbury
Salary: £28,000 rising to £30,600 after successful probation & skills test
Hours: Monday to Friday – 8am–5pm

We are looking for a practical and motivated Campervan Upholsterer to join our clients growing workshop team in Banbury.

You will be responsible for upholstering and finishing the beds, seating, cushions and interior soft furnishings within our campervan conversions.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with existing upholstery, trimming or practical workshop experience. Previous automotive upholstery experience would be ideal, but full training will be provided for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

* Upholstering campervan beds and seating

* Cutting and fitting upholstery foam and fabrics

* Making and fitting cushion covers

* Trimming and finishing campervan interiors to a high standard

* Working from measurements, templates and build plans

* Ensuring accurate, neat and professional finishes

* Working with different fabrics, vinyls and upholstery materials

* Using upholstery tools and sewing equipment

* Working as part of a small workshop team

* Maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail

What We’re Looking For

Practical hands-on experience in an upholstery, trimming or workshop environment, such as:

* Automotive upholstery / vehicle trimming

* Furniture upholstery

* Marine upholstery

* Sewing and soft furnishings

* Campervan or motorhome interiors

* General upholstery or similar skilled work

You will need:

* Good practical and manual skills

* Good attention to detail

* Confidence working with tools and materials

* The ability to work accurately from measurements and templates

* A good eye for finish and quality

* Reliable, motivated and willing to learn

* Pride in producing a high-quality finished product

Previous automotive or campervan upholstery experience would be a strong advantage, but we are happy to consider someone from another upholstery background who has the right skills and attitude.

Training Provided

Full training will be provided in there campervan upholstery and interior finishing processes, including:

* Campervan bed and seating upholstery

* Cushion and cover fitting

* Working with different upholstery materials

* Trimming and finishing techniques

* Workshop processes and safe working practices

* Our specific campervan build methods and standards

No previous campervan experience is required — the right upholstery skills, attitude and attention to detail are what matter most.

What We Offer

Salary starts at £28,000

Increases to £30,600 after successful probation & skills test

Ideal Candidate

You are a practical and skilled upholsterer who takes pride in your work and enjoys creating a high-quality finished product.

You may already have experience in automotive trimming, vehicle upholstery, furniture upholstery or another upholstery environment and be looking for an opportunity to develop your skills within the growing campervan industry.
