Canteen Assistant

Role: Canteen Assistant

Hours: 20 hours per week. (Mon - Fri 9.00am - 13.00pm)

Duration: Ongoing - Weekly paid

Experience: Relevant catering experience

Salary: Negotiable - Dependant on experience 

Responsible to: Production Manager

The Company:

Dalair Limited was founded in the early 80s and we are a company looking to improve the facilities provided to our members of staff. As the company continues to flourish and our staff levels expand, we now need to strengthen our Canteen team with an experienced canteen assistant to ensure all our staff members food and drink requirements can be met.

The Role:

• Responsible for the cooking and distributing of breakfast and lunch to all shop floor and office staff.


• Provide hot drinks to all members of staff throughout the day.


• Work well as a team with the other canteen staff.


• Assist in managing stock rotation and ordering.


• Assist with the daily setup and close down of the canteen, including till reconciliation and operating payment systems as required.


• Adhere to all company policies relating to food preparation, handling, and storage to promote a safe and hygienic working environment.

The Person:

To be considered for this role, you will need to:

• Have previous catering experience.


• Work well with others.
