Capex Finance Manager

Citadel Source is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a highly successful and market leading client in Bristol in the recruitment of a Finance Manager (Capex), a newly created role to support the Head of Finance and Finance Director with ongoing growth and development within the business.

The role

Reporting into the Head of Finance, this role will be responsible for the monthly preparation of the management accounts across multiple entities, including commentary and variance analysis. In addition, you will take ownership of a small team, ensuring workload is delivered to a high standard and invest in their personal development.

As the Finance Manager (CapEx), your role will include but not be limited to:

• Oversee monthly P&L postings and support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare and present financial results and analysis to senior management
• Line management and development of two direct reports
• Participate in ad hoc finance projects including systems changes, process improvements, and structural changes
• Identify asset write-offs, assess risks, and manage related financial provisions
• Conduct financial analysis, including ROI calculations for capital investments
• Ensure CapEx expenditure records meet audit standards
• Other project/improvement projects alongside the FD/CFO

What the client has to offer

• A salary of circa £50,000 - £55,000
• Hybrid working, ideally 2 days a week onsite (Central Bristol)
• 25 days holiday + BH
