Job Title: Car Sales Executive

Salary: £24,000 basic - OTE £55,000 / £60,000

Hours: Monday to Saturday, Day off in the week, No Sundays

Location: Guildford

Hawkfield Recruitment is working with a family-run dealer group in the Guildford area. We are recruiting for a 2 Car Sales Executives to join their busy Guildford site.

We are recruiting one for Used cars only, you will be joining the used car site and will have the ability to sell various makes and models. The other position is selling new cars only in their multi-franchise showroom.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading and innovative brand, with excellent training and development opportunities. We are looking for people with a background in sales or retail. This position has a strong focus on customer service and customer experience and full training will be provided by the company and the manufacturer.

Responsibilities of a Sales Executive:

• Provide a knowledgeable, courteous, responsive, and efficient service.
• Ensure customer expectations and requirements are identified and fully managed throughout the sales process.
• Advise customers on finance and insurance products, upselling where possible
• To have outstanding knowledge of the brands products and services to ensure the customer receives the best service possible
• To build, manage and maintain a list of viable prospects by maximising all sales leads
• Pro-actively conduct telephone sales activity to generate new prospects and manage customers in the sales cycle.

Key Requirements:

• You will be a target driven-driven and customer-focused sales executive with previous experience within the motor trade, although this is not essential and full training will be provided
• Possess excellent customer facing skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
• Strong negotiation skills
• Well-presented and able to engage and build positive relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Results focused, you will be resilient to manage customer objections and to learn from feedback.
