Job Description - Car Sales Executive

Car Sales Executive

Locations: Southend, Essex

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 OTE (uncapped)

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • One weekday off per week (to be agreed with line manager)
  • Holiday: 22 days plus bank holidays

About the Role:

Our client, one of the largest and most respected motor retailers in Essex, is seeking experienced and motivated Car Sales Executives to join their growing teams across Essex. The company prides itself on delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining strong performance and leadership in the automotive sales industry.

As a Car Sales Executive, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on selling new and used vehicles, contributing directly to the continued growth and success of the business. Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage confidently with customers to understand their vehicle needs and provide tailored advice
  • Present and demonstrate vehicles, both new and used, highlighting key features and benefits
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring a positive experience
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive selling and relationship building
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of products, promotions, and company policies
  • Manage all administrative tasks associated with vehicle sales accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and management to support dealership goals

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 1 year sales experience (automotive experience preferred but not essential for motivated individuals)
  • Confident and articulate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ambitious, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed in a competitive environment
  • Well-presented with a professional attitude
  • Strong customer-focused approach, consistently delivering high service standards
  • Flexible and adaptable with a “can-do” attitude
  • Full, clean UK manual driving licence essential
