Cardiology Physiologist - Outpatients

Job Description - Cardiology Physiologist - Outpatients

Description

Spire Healthcare | Pontprennau | Cardiac Physiologist | Outpatients | Spire Cardiff Hospital | Permanent | Part Time

At Spire Cardiff Hospital, we know that the quality of our diagnostic services plays a vital role in every patient's journey. As a Cardiac Physiologist, you'll be at the centre of that experience, helping to provide accurate and timely investigations that support diagnosis, treatment planning and ongoing care.

Joining our established Cardiology Department on a permanent part-time basis, you'll work closely with experienced consultants, nurses and fellow physiologists while benefiting from the flexibility of a 15-hour working week. This is an opportunity to continue developing your specialist skills, build strong clinical relationships and make a genuine difference to patients throughout some of the most important stages of their care.

About the role

As a Cardiac Physiologist, you will work predominantly within our Outpatients Department, delivering a range of non-invasive cardiac investigations and supporting patients through diagnostic assessments with professionalism, empathy and clinical expertise.

Working closely with consultants, nursing colleagues and fellow physiologists, you'll play a key role in ensuring patients receive safe, effective and patient-focused care. You'll be involved in performing and analysing diagnostic tests, assessing patient wellbeing and contributing to high clinical standards across the service.

This role offers a varied caseload and the opportunity to apply your specialist knowledge while helping to maintain and develop a high-quality cardiology service supporting both outpatient and inpatient pathways. You'll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of non-invasive cardiac investigations, maintaining and developing your skills within a service that supports both inpatient and outpatient care.

Why join us

Our Cardiology Department has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality patient care within a supportive and collaborative environment. You'll be joining a welcoming team where clinical expertise is valued, colleagues work closely together and patient outcomes remain the focus of every decision.

This position is particularly suited to an experienced Cardiac Physiologist seeking flexibility without stepping away from meaningful clinical practice. Whether you're looking to balance existing commitments, reduce your hours or continue working within a specialist cardiology setting on a part-time basis, this role offers the opportunity to maintain and develop your expertise within a well-established private hospital environment.
