Job description:

Provide assistance with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity in daily activities.
Foster a supportive and empathetic environment by engaging in meaningful conversations and companionship.
Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social activities.

Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social activities.Assist with light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe and tidy living space.
Provide support with grocery shopping and other essential errands.

Requirements

Previous experience in care work or a related field is desirable.
Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to adapt to the evolving needs of clients and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is advantageous.
A valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle may be required.
