We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at an adult residential facility. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to residents in their day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping others and making a difference in their lives. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting residents with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also provide companionship and emotional support to residents, ensuring that they feel safe, comfortable, and valued. Additionally, you will help with meal preparation and assist in organizing recreational activities for residents. Responsibilities
Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
Help residents with mobility and transferring, ensuring their safety.
Assist with medication management and administration.
Promote independence and encourage residents to participate in activities.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of residents' care plans and progress.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the overall well-being of residents.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience working as a Care Assistant or in a similar role.
Knowledge of basic care and support techniques for adults.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathetic and compassionate nature.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills. Various Shift Pattens: Hours Per Week:
Start Time: 22:00; 07:00; 14:00
End Time: 07:00; 14:00; 22:00
Pay Per Hour: £11.44
