Responsibilities

Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents, respecting their individual needs and preferences
Support residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility
Administer medication and maintain accurate care records in accordance with enhanced care standards
Promote a safe and clean environment by following health and safety policies and procedures
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure coordinated care
Encourage social interaction and engagement through activities and meaningful conversation
Report any changes in resident's health or behaviour to the nursing team promptly
Participate in regular training and development opportunities to maintain enhanced care skills

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Care Assistant preferred
Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check clearance or willingness to obtain one
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to upholding the principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace
Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes
Flexible approach to work, including willingness to work shifts as required

Day-to-Day
