Care Assistant Worker

About the role Our Client provides [residential / home] care for older adults and people living with dementia. We need kind, reliable Care Assistants to help our residents live safe, comfortable and dignified lives.

What you will do

* Help residents with personal care, including washing, dressing and mobility

* Support residents at mealtimes and with hydration

* Spend time with residents, encourage activities and offer companionship

* Observe and report changes in health or wellbeing

* Keep accurate care records

* Follow safeguarding, infection control and health and safety procedures

What you need

* A caring, patient and reliable nature

* Good communication skills and spoken English

* Willingness to work shifts, including some weekends

* An enhanced DBS check (we can arrange this)

* No experience needed; full training provided

Nice to have

* Previous care experience

* Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care

* A full UK driving licence (for home care roles)
