Job Description - Care Home Manager


The home that looks after older people with dementia and other similar conditions will require a strong Home Manager to drive the business forward and ensure that high quality person centred care is provided meeting the needs of all the individuals in their care.


 As the Registered Care Home Manager you must be committed to creating a nurturing environment for your staff and residents. You will need to establish and maintain good communication with residents, relatives, colleagues and professionals outside the home such as social services, GPs, and the CQC. 



Requirements

Residential Home Manager requirements:
 • Diploma Level 5, The Registered Managers Award, NVQ4 or an equivalent or be willing to undertake this 
• Previous experience working as a Home Manager or Deputy manager within Elderly Care is essential
 • Be a strong leader and confident in delivering excellent leadership and line management.
 • Excellent knowledge of working within and to the CQC code of conduct guidelines.
