Care Home Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Care Home Manager for an 18 bed residential service in Westcliff on Sea, Essex. Our client is a family run health care provider with currently eight services including six care homes in Essex, a supported living service and a day centre.

You will need to have previous experience as a manager in a learning disability/ mental health service. As Care Home Manager you will provide leadership within the team and lead by example and acts as a champion for resident’s safety and dignity.

To maintain skills and knowledge and be a champion for ensuring the team is fully up to date with best practice guidelines. Act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice.

This role requires a minimum of an NVQ/Diploma Level 5 in Health & Social Care qualification. The position requires the candidate to be computer literate, good numeracy and literacy skills, with strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and as well as being confident and reliable, they must have a strong desire to succeed.f
