Elite Search Associates is recruiting a Registered Home Manager for a large care home in Sidcup, supporting older people with nursing and residential care needs.

Currently rated Good by the CQC, the home has recently been acquired by an established and growing care provider, making this an exciting time to join. You will have the opportunity to build on its existing strengths, shape the home’s next chapter and develop your team, with the backing of an experienced wider organisation.

The opportunity

As Registered Home Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of this 90-bed home, creating an environment where residents receive compassionate, person-centred care and staff feel supported to deliver their best.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading, supporting and developing the nursing and care teams.

Maintaining strong clinical oversight, governance and quality standards.

*

Building positive relationships with residents, families and external professionals.

*

Managing staffing, budgets and the home’s operational performance.

*

Leading the home through its transition into the wider group and embedding the provider’s standards.

About you

This role would particularly suit a qualified nurse with experience of managing a care home of 60 beds or more.

You will bring confident leadership, a strong understanding of nursing and residential care, and the ability to balance excellent care with effective management of a large service. You will enjoy developing people, setting clear expectations and taking ownership of the home’s performance.
