Commissioning Home Manager - Lead the Launch of a New Care Home

Location: Kent

Salary: £75,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Home Manager ( nurse ) to take the lead of a brand-new, purpose-built 70-bed nursing and dementia care home. This is your chance to be there from the very beginning - shaping the culture, setting high standards, and building a team that shares your dedication to exceptional care.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on creating something from the ground up, is confident in their clinical expertise, and is ready to make a meaningful impact.

Experience and qualifications required:

• Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a current NMC pin
• Proven leadership experience within a care home environment for at least 2 years
• A strong understanding of CQC regulations and a commitment to best practice
• A genuine passion for delivering person-centred care
• Previous commissioning experience is a bonus

What you’ll do:

• Lead the full commissioning process of a state-of-the-art care home
• Build, manage, and develop a high-performing care team
• Oversee budgets, compliance, and occupancy
• Create a warm, safe, and welcoming home for residents and staff alike
