Your Responsibilities
As Care Manager, you will play a key role in the smooth running and growth of our office, working alongside the Owner & directors, Care Coordinators, Senior Care Givers, and Care Givers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leadership & Team Support:
Provide guidance, motivation, and professional support to the team
Ensure a high standard of service and staff performance
Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Maintain compliance with all laws, regulations, and CQC requirements
Ensure the business achieves a minimum of a Good CQC rating
Conduct internal audits, spot checks, service reviews, and client assessments
Staff Recruitment & Development:
Recruit high-quality care assistants and ensure excellent retention
Oversee training, competency sign-offs, and staff appraisals
Client Care & Operational Excellence:
Maintain outstanding levels of client care and satisfaction
Manage care plans, risk assessments, and support plans
Oversee scheduling to ensure seamless service delivery
Business Growth & Strategic Planning:
Support business development in line with commercial targets
Continuously improve processes for efficiency and effectiveness
On-Call & Emergency Support:
Take part in the on-call rota for out-of-hours support as required
What We’re Looking For
QCF Level 5 in Social Care (or working towards)
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and a track record of compliance
Previous leadership or management experience in health and social care
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Ability to motivate and develop a team
Confident in using care management software
Full UK Driving Licence (required)
