Care Scheduler - £27,000 DOE - Sheffield S10

We are currently seeking a Care Scheduler to join a national domiciliary care provider as part of their homecare team based in Sheffield (S10). This is a full-time, permanent role working Monday to Friday, offering a competitive salary of £27,000 per annum.

About the Role:

As a Care Scheduler, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our care services run smoothly and efficiently. Using our scheduling software, you will plan and allocate resources to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in the local community. This is an excellent opportunity to use your organisational and logistical skills in a meaningful role where you'll make a difference every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce full and compliant staff rotas in advance.
• Ensure all rotas and records are accurate and compliant with organisational and legal requirements.
• Keep staff and service user information up to date, including absences, annual leave and training.
• Assign visits to care workers based on service user needs and preferences, considering gender, skills and compatibility.
• Act as the first point of contact for all new care package referrals, completing the referral tracker and optimising workforce capacity.
• Work with our Recruitment Team on future workforce planning.
• Participate in on-call duties on a rota basis.

Requirements:

• Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own transport.
• Previous scheduling or rota-planning experience in a care environment is highly desirable.
• Strong IT skills and confidence using scheduling software.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
