Care Team Leader
£15.00 per hour | 38 hours per week | Day Shifts
Our client, a beautifully designed and purpose-built care home for older adults, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to join their friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with leadership experience in a care setting who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

As a Care Team Leader, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day care delivered to residents. You’ll lead by example, supporting the care team with confidence and compassion while ensuring every individual receives respectful, tailored support that meets their needs.
This role involves day shifts only, allowing for a consistent work-life balance in a calm, purpose-built environment.
What You’ll Need
A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
Previous experience working in a care home setting, ideally in a senior or supervisory role
Confidence in conducting appraisals, supervisions, and staff development
Strong leadership skills with a warm, approachable, and supportive manner
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of older adults

Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the care team during shifts to provide outstanding, person-centred care
Carry out and oversee appraisals and supervisions, ensuring team members are supported and developed
Ensure all care plans and documentation are up to date and reflect residents' individual needs
Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful atmosphere for both residents and staff
Liaise with families, external professionals, and other departments to support holistic care
Promote best practices in care delivery and maintain compliance with policies and regulations
