? Careers Advisor Opportunities – Northampton

Full-time (37 hrs/week, all year): £24,378.00 – £26,601.00 per annum
Term-time (37 hrs/week, 40 weeks/year): £21,096.35 – £23,020.10 per annum
Start Date: Flexible
Location: Northampton

Are you a passionate and experienced Careers Advisor (CEIAG) looking to make a lasting impact on young people’s futures?
We are seeking dedicated professionals to join a dynamic and student-centred careers team, working closely with the Careers Lead to deliver high-quality guidance aligned with the Gatsby Benchmarks.
You’ll be working within a thriving educational setting, supporting an aspirational student body alongside a skilled and supportive staff team in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside.

? We have two roles available:

Post 1: Full-time, 37 hours per week (all year round)
Post 2: 37 hours per week over 40 working weeks per year

?? Your key responsibilities will include:

Providing one-to-one guidance and support to students across the college, helping them identify strengths, interests, and goals
Contributing to the planning and delivery of the college’s careers provision
Hosting and delivering career masterclasses and workshops in collaboration with the Careers Lead
Offering guidance to prospective students at open days, transition events, and as needed throughout the year

?? What we’re looking for:

A Level 6 CEIAG qualification, or willingness to work towards and achieve it
A Level 3 AET/teaching qualification, or willingness to obtain it
A Level 2 Customer Service qualification, or willingness to complete it
Experience providing individual or small group careers advice
A genuine passion for inspiring and motivating young people
