Job Description - Careers Advisor

Are you passionate about helping people plan their futures? My client is seeking for an enthusiastic Careers Advisor to join our team and provide expert guidance, advice, and support to individuals exploring their career, education, or training options.

Key responsibilities:
  • Deliver one-to-one careers advice and group sessions.
  • Support individuals with CV writing, job applications, and interview preparation.
  • Provide information on education pathways, training courses, and employment opportunities.
  • Develop tailored career action plans to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and track progress against agreed objectives.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Experience in careers guidance, employ ability, or education (or willingness to train).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of labour market trends and progression pathways is desirable.
  • A qualification in careers guidance (e.g., Level 6/7) is an advantage but not essential.
